These are customised versions of the XLV reels to suit certain fishing styles in the best possible way.

NYMPH #4-5 has a proper disc brake package, a real large-arbour design and an EVA handle which provides a solid grip even in wet conditions. All moving parts are greased with SKF’s water resistant bearing grease. The Nymph reel is narrow and has ultra large arbour for quick line retrieve. It has a full body rim preventing thin nymph lines slipping wrong places and causing jams. Brake has been modified for lighter tippets and is super smooth. It also has a 360-degree adjustment.

NYMPH & DRY #5-6 Super narrow and super large arbour reel for modern nymph and dry fly fisherman. Thanks to the large arbour, you can quickly reel in the loose line for fighting the big ones. Weightwise this reel is designed to balance the longer, light line weight rods and it does it perfectly. The drag is made smoothness in mind and the maximum force wasn’t the key factor, therefore this is superb reel for thin tippets. Matt black appearance doesn’t scare the fish and it looks good on all rods.

STILLMANIACS in mind we designed this modern cassette reel to suit today’s stillwater fishing. The reel balances perfectly our Stillmaniac rods but in addition to these it is a great choice for your pike or single handed salmon rod, or for whatever fishing where you need several different types of lines. The cassette has a quick change system so you only need to unscrew the locking ring for half a turn, and you can pull it out. It also has a solid area where you can write with a marker pen the line which you have on it. The reel comes in a handy neoprene case with 3 cassettes and if you need more, they are available in moderately priced 2-packs.

The KUST #7-8 reel is based on the 7/8 XLV reel but it features the heraldic v-frame from bigger sizes. Silver colour with blue details fit nicely the Kust and Merisuola rods. This reel is equally home in lighter saltwater use too as it takes good amount of thin backing with a #7 weight Merisuola flyline.

MAMA #8-9 has a proper disc brake package, a real large-arbour design and an EVA handle which provides a solid grip even in wet conditions. All moving parts are greased with SKF’s water resistant bearing grease.The Mama reel has a bold appearance with its red colour and black details. It fits perfectly all our pike & predator rods. The brake is powerfull enough for inshore saltwater use and it tames the northern predators with ease.

The SWITCH #8-9 is perfect choice for modern switch rods. With its capacity it takes basically any switch line, no matter if it is a full line or a shooting head system. The full body rim is there for the ones who like thin monofilament type runninglines and it also adds strength of the reel for the moments when you fight big fish. The weight of the reel is matched to balance the Switch rods of 11’ – 12’6” in length perfectly. The LOHI #9-10 reel is a sturdier and heavier addition to XLV family. It’ll be the choice for rods longer than 13’ and its brake system is capable of handling all anadromous fish species. Thanks to its corrosion proof construction it is more affordable option for saltwater use too. There is enough capacity for heavy shooting head systems or 10 – 12 SW lines with loads of backing.
